Already, I’ve got the nervous sweats. Xavier’s game against Georgia was just a little too close for my liking. Georgia was sitting on the lead until Xavier stormed back to win 73-61. I had picked Xavier to get to the Regional Finals, so if they had lost, my bracket was going to take a major hit. Through three games, my pool bracket is perfect. Only 13 more games to go for the day. All I have to do is be on top for the weekend, and I’m win. That’s 45 more games to go.
With Kansas and Michigan State joining Xavier in the win column, now it’s four more games to watch out for. Marquette is leading Kentucky early (yes!) and Kent State and UNLV are just starting. Baylor takes on Purdue and Oral Roberts faces the Pittsburgh Panthers. We’ll see where we are after these games are over.
